GRA Board recommends demotion and transfer for former AG’s wife

The Guyana Revenue Authority after an assessment of the performance of Deputy Commissioner of Inland Revenue, Legal Services Division (LSD), Hissaun Yasin-Nandlall, has recommended that she be transferred to another operational support area. The conclusion is that there is need for improvement in her performance. A document seen by this publication regarding the justifications made for Nandlall’s transfer stated that she should continue in the position of Deputy Commissioner of the LSD, but at the lower level. Decomposed body of missing taxi driver found

The partially decomposed body of missing hire car driver Colin Clarke, was found in the vicinity of Uitvlugt, West Coast Demerara (WCD), Thursday. Clarke, popularly known as “Ole Boy” of Crane Housing Scheme, WCD, was last on Friday, in the area where he works. Both the 55-year-old man and a silver-grey Toyota Allion motor car, HC 4993, which he operated, disappeared. Charlie Sheen’s ex-fiancée sues, alleges assault, battery, failure to disclose HIV

U.S   –   Charlie Sheen’s former fiancée has filed a lawsuit accusing him of assault, battery, false imprisonment and failure to disclose to her that he was HIV-positive. Scottine Ross filed the lawsuit Thursday in Los Angeles Superior Court.
