Knife attack confused for performance art at Art Basel Miami Beach

U.S   –  A bloody crime or performance art?  That’s what visitors to Art Basel in Miami Beach were left wondering after an altercation between two women attending the art fair turned violent. A woman was stabbed after accusing her attacker of following her around the art fair and bumping into her repeatedly, local media reported. Legislation to relax marijuana convictions for Parliament

Attorneys Nigel Hughes and Mark Waldron have completed a draft new legislation to relax marijuana convictions. This comes in the wake of the imprisonment of former national footballer turned coach, Vibert Butts by a city Magistrate for the possession of marijuana.  Butts has since appealed the conviction and sentence and is expected to be released on $350,000, pending the outcome of the appeal. The legislation, which aims to revise stipulations of the denial of bail, the mandatory minimum serving time and the violation of the separation of power, is likely to be tabled in the National Assembly on December 17. Citizens died while PPP/C Ministers utilized medical aid on “cosmetics”- Harmon

The People’s Progressive Party/ Civic (PPP/C) government was so “callous” about the welfare of ordinary Guyanese that it allowed ailing citizens, who required government funding for medical procedures, to die, while its Ministers were looking after “cosmetics” and other unnecessary procedures.
