Those who do not submit the lists of candidates one time, will not get a second chance to do that at a later moment. Saturday night the police arrested two teenagers shortly after the fatal stabbing at the parking along the Lala Rookhweg. Police is still looking for the third offender. SURINAME – Rosebel will reportedly adjust its work and bus schedule on Election Day, May 25,  so that its employees can go to the polls. SURINAME – The complaint that the ODE party presented to President Desiré Bouterse has been rejected. The chairman of ODE, Ferdinand Louis, told Times of Suriname that he does not agree with the decision to reject his party for a second time because of the 1% requirement. He made it clear that his party does in fact meet this requirement. The 1% requirement clearly states that each political party must prove that it has the support of at least 1% of the number of the nation’s voters. SURINAME – The results of a  survey that was recently carried out by Nikos in the Wanica District indicates that the government has given the nation very little information about the rail road project that it wants to construct. 71% of the respondents indicated that they have received very little information while 29% indicated that they have either  received enough information or that it is hard to say. SURINAME – The 2015 budget was approved by Parliament early Wednesday morning after a marathon session which lasted over 12 hours. The budget was passed with 27 votes in favor and 6 against it.
